We have seen a dramatic increase in traffic in Alexandria this summer–no traffic jams though! So why are people coming to Alexandria Minnesota? In questioning our guests at Cedar Rose Inn, we find that many people have converted their yearly travel plans to short , local discovery, road trips to outer Minnesota and are loving it. Not only are they relaxing, but also educational, fun and low cost. So check it out! There are many interesting events, tours, and just plain great escapes just waiting for you. And while you’re at it, come stay with us and maybe take the tour of our vineyards and see the beautiful color change (called verasion) that has just begun which signals the first signs of autumn harvest just around the corner.
“There was not enough room on my comment card to express the quality of the B&B and the hospitality we received!! This was my first time at a B&B and it was totally fantastic. The rooms, their decor, the history of the B&B was wonderful and very interesting. I commented several times on the cleanliness, great food and our hosts Florian and Aggie couldn’t have done a single thing more to make us feel both comfortable and wanted. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left (we stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms) we felt the love that these 2 share for each other AND their guests they both simply glow with pride over their home and what they do with it. We definitely want to go again and our experience even inspired me to send them a thank-you card (and we both hugged Aggie when we left!!) It was truly a memorable weekend a girls get-away which couldn’t have been any better!!”
